PLASTRON® LFT PAX-CF40-02(L9) by Polyplastics is an electrically conductive, high strength polyamide resin reinforced with 40% long carbon fiber. It provides dimensional stability, sliding and wear. It offers low warpage, high impact resistance and superior creep properties. It imparts high elasticity retention at high temperatures and superior impact retention at low temperatures. The reinforced carbon fiber of same length is incorporated in the same direction in the resin pellet. It exhibits high rigidity and impact strength which is hard to achieve with conventional fiber-reinforced plastics, allowing the use of thermoplastic resins instead of metals and fiber-reinforced plastics (FRPs). It is processed by injection molding. It helps in reducing weight in industrial pump housings and joint parts for civil engineering pipes to various functional parts and structural members of automobiles and motorcycles. PLASTRON® LFT PAX-CF40-02(L9) is used in bicycles, pump housings, underground pipe fittings, baitcasting reels, fans and pneumatic tool bodies.
