PLASTRON® LFT PA9T-GF50-01(L9)

PLASTRON® LFT PA9T-GF50-01(L9) by Polyplastics is an aromatic polyamide resin reinforced with 50% long glass fiber. It can help in reducing weight in industrial pump housings and joint parts for civil engineering pipes to various functional parts and structural members of automobiles and motorcycles. Recommended for bicycles, pump housings, underground pipe fittings, baitcasting reels, fans and pneumatic tool bodies. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. The reinforced glass fibers of same length are incorporated in the same direction in the resin pellet. It offers mechanical strength, dimensional stability, sliding and wear. It exhibits high elasticity retention at high temperatures and superior impact retention at low temperatures. It provides low warpage, high impact resistance and superior creep properties. PLASTRON® LFT PA9T-GF50-01(L9) imparts high rigidity and impact strength which is hard to achieve with conventional fiber-reinforced plastics, allowing the use of thermoplastic resins instead of metals and fiber-reinforced plastics (FRPs).
