Cel-Span® Purge 385

Cel-Span® Purge 385 commercialized by Phoenix Plastics is a multipurpose, binary engineered thermoplastic purging compound, formulated for blown film equipment. It is a cleansing compound specially tailored for most resins that are utilized in sheet and film extrusion processes. Contains several proprietary additives used to maximize thermal stability and reduce degradation and oxidative by-products occurring during the manufacturing process as well other contaminants produced in most olefinic resin processes. Offers unlimited shelf life, easy to use, no process changes needed, use at the normal resin processing temperature & RPM speed and no mixing required. An effective compound used in removing residue by-products such as char, black specks, and colors from process equipment during various extrusion and injection processes. Successful in removing residues during cleansing cycles. Compatible with number of resins such as PE, PP and PS. Designed for injection molding, extrusion (pipes & profiles) and compounding. Cel-Span® Purge 385 commercialized by Phoenix Plastics has no adverse health effects and additives & resins used in the formulation are GRAS (Generally recognized as safe) approved and safe, non-hazardous materials with FDA (Food and Drug Administration) compliance.
