Cel-Span® Purge 300FG

Cel-Span® Purge 300FG commercialized by Phoenix Plastics is a purging compound contains several proprietary additives plus short-strand fiberglass that are essential in the cleansing process of high temperatures as well as lower melting polyolefins. It was also created to be the least cost prohibitive glass filled cleansing compound in the market. Can be used directly without any mixing necessary to clean most plastic equipment during color and resin changes. The unique additives and resin system makes it possible to purge color resins like Polyolefins, A.B.S. (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), styrenics as well as PC (polycarbonate), nylon, PEEK (polyether ether ketone) and Ultem in less time and with less smoke than most cleansing compounds on the market. Offers unlimited shelf life, easy to use, no process changes needed, use at the normal resin processing temperature & RPM speed, no mixing required and not just a mechanical purge.
