PETILEN YY B00552 by Petkim is a translucent, white to grey colored high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin. Shows very low UV deterioration and slow biodegradability. It is non-toxic, insoluble in water and available in the form of solid pellets (diameter of 2-5 mm). It possesses bimodal structure and broad molecular weight distribution. Exhibits excellent ESCR, long term hydrostatic strength and contains UV additive which provides an advantage especially in underground applications. Suitable for processing by high pressure pipe extrusion. PETILEN YY B00552 is used in pipes for distribution of drinking & irrigation water and sewerage purposes. It conforms to the compositional requirements of the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
