Silopren™ LSR 2740 TP 3783 by Momentive Performance Materials is a two-component liquid silicone rubber. It is easily pigmented with LSR color pastes. Offers primer-less adhesion to a wide range of substrates, high thermal stability, flexibility at low temperature and excellent stability. Exhibits good aging behavior, weather resistance, good dielectric and mechanical properties. It reaches full bond strength after a short post-cure (1 h at 100°C) or by longer storage at room temperature. Designed for processing by multi-component injection, insert molding or overmolding. Silopren™ LSR 2740 TP 3783 is used in elastomeric articles like sealing elements, membranes, vibration dampening elements, spatula or other hard-soft combinations. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO 10993 and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations.
