TPX™ DX560M

Supplied byMitsui Chemicals- Last Updated on Dec 15, 2020

TPX™ DX560M by Mitsui Chemicals is a heat resistant, low density, opaque polymethylpentene. It boasts superior releasability and is one of the lightest polymer materials among thermoplastic plastics. Possible applications include food containers, release film for FPC, rubber hoses and release paper for synthetic leather. It is also suitable for animal cage, resin modification, LED mold, experimental apparatuses and hollow fiber. Offers excellent chemical & steam resistance and high durability against acid, alkali and alcohol. Recommended for processing by mandrel, pipe and profile type extrusion. It is also suitable for injection molding, T-Die casting extrusion and direct blow molding. Exhibits gas permeability, low refractive index, low dielectric property and high insulation properties equivalent to fluororesin. TPX™ DX560M shows excellent transparency equivalent to glass and acrylic as well as high melting point and can be used at high temperature.
