MIPELON™ XM-221U by Mitsui Chemicals is a self-lubricating, halogen-free, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) with low friction, spherical powder shape and narrow particle size distribution. It exhibits low water absorption, good impact strength and innovative processability. It possesses uniform & smooth surface, high mechanical properties and exceptional mechanical strength. It is an easy to mold grade with high durability and uniform dispersion. It offers superb chemical-, abrasion-, heat- and water resistance. It prevents film blocking and bleed out over time, unlike other slipping agents. MIPELON™ XM-221U functions as a micro-bearing particle inside grease and decreases the coefficient of friction and sliding property. It is food contact acceptable.
