Menzolit® SMC 1000 by Menzolit is a sheet molding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. It is reinforced with glass fiber and mineral fillers. It exhibits increased hydrolysis resistance and low smoke generation. In case of fire, it does not melt and does not form droplets. It is recommended to combine with chrome plated tools.
  • It is suitable for processing by compression molding in heated steel molds.
  • Menzolit® SMC 1000 is designed for construction, industrial and sanitary applications.
  • It is used in sectional water tanks and water purification systems.
  • It does not contain halogens, heavy metals and any candidates from the REACH SVHC list.
