UV17Med by Master Bond is a low viscosity, UV curable system for high performance bonding, sealing and coating featuring superb adhesion to thermoplastic urethanes (TPUs). It exhibits low tensile modulus, outstanding toughness, flexibility, thin & high flowability, high elongation, low shrinkage upon curing and good dimensional stability.
- It bonds well to a variety of other substrates, including metals, ceramics, glass, and other plastics.
- It offers thermal & electrical insulation and good chemical resistance to water, cleaning agents, chemical sterilants, EtO-, gamma radiation.
- It does not display oxygen inhibition and its physical properties allow it to withstand aggressive thermal cycling.
- It is used in medical and non-medical applications.
- It has a shelf life of 6 months at 75°F in original unopened containers.
- UV17Med is RoHS complaint and passes ISO 10993-5 for cytotoxicity.
