Pro-fax EP649U by LyondellBasell is a nucleated, impact polypropylene (PP) copolymer. It contains antistatic and offers improved organoleptic properties, good impact resistance, stiffness and high flow.

• It shows fast crystallization enabling the efficient production of thin-walled containers while enhancing both productivity and product quality.
• It facilitates easy mold release and improves downstream handling on high-speed filling lines.
• Its high flexural modulus provides superior stack strength for containers, allowing reduced wall thickness and lightweighting.
• It does not contain controlled rheology byproducts that can transfer unwanted taste and odor to packaged goods.
• It is recommended for thin-wall injection molding (TWIM) food containers, consumer products and rigid packaging.
• Pro-fax EP649U meets broad food contact compliance for the U.S. and other countries, as well as a non-phthalate catalyst for resin production and exclusively non-animal derived additives.
