TA 1108 HD by Kafrit Group is a highly inert, clear to white colored, cross-linkable polyethylene (PEX) grade. It is a silane grafted ethylene copolymer. Exhibits excellent flexibility, good mechanical and thermal performance and excellent aesthetics. Is insoluble in water and can be processed using extrusion. It is used for producing crosslinked pipes, tubing and other profiles by using SIOPLAS-System which allows crosslinked polyethylene products to be extruded as normal thermoplastic polymers. Is suitable for SDR 9 tubing applications in continuous service at operating conditions of 140°F and 80 psi. TA 1108 HD is recommended for use in residential and commercial applications like radiant heating application, flexible pipe intended for potable hot and cold water plumbing, tubing and other profiles. Pipe produced with TA 1108 HD fulfills and exceeds the requirements of ASTM F876-10, ASTM F877-07, ASTM F2023-09, ASTM F2657-07, CSA B137.5-09 and all related standards.
