RAMAPET S184 by Indorama Ventures Public Company is a high strength (polyethylene terepehthalate) copolymer grade made from terephthalic acid (PTA), isophthalic acid (IPA) and mono-ethylene glycol (MEG). Exhibits good optical and mechanical properties. Designed for thin-walled PET bottles where the creep and thermal stability are critical. It can also be used in combination with R-PET to compensate the lower IV of recycled PET. RAMAPET S184 complies with the requirements of the European Legislation (EU) No 10/2011 for plastics used in contact with food, EU Regulation 2023/2006 and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) CFR 177.1630 and 21 CFR 174.5.
