RAMAPET N180 commercialized by Indorama polymers is a general purpose, non-reheat PET (polyethylene terephthalate) resin, copolymer made from terephthalic acid (PTA), isophthalic acid (IPA) and mono-ethylene glycol (MEG). Exhibits good optical properties and mechanical properties. It is a condensation polymer produced by a continuous melt-phase polymerization process followed by a solid-state polymerization process. Suitable for bottles for carbonated soft drinks, water bottles, juices, beer, wine & spirits, household products, food packaging and APET sheet & thermoformed containers. RAMAPET N180 commercialized by Indorama polymers complies with the requirements of the European Legislation (EU) No 10/2011 for plastics used in contact with food, EU Regulation 2023/2006 and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) CFR 177.1630 and 21 CFR 174.5.
