Tarnoform® 300 UV

Tarnoform® 300 UV commercialized by Grupa Azoty is a high quality POM (polyoxymethylene)/ acetal copolymer grade stabilized against UV,light exposure degradation present as natural/ black colored granules. Produced by cationic polymerization of trioxane. Exhibits negligible change of impact strength at temperatures between - 40°C and 110°C as well as high stiffness and mechanical strength. Shows high fatigue endurance, lack of influence of air humidity on mechanical properties and excellent dimensional stability. Offers resistance to most organic solvents, bases & acids of pH > 4, high hardness and abrasion & chemical resistance. Provides low friction coefficient in connections involving typical materials and high resistance to warping (even at high temperatures). Imparts outstanding electrical & electroconductive properties and dielectric properties (virtually unaffected by changes of ambient temperature and humidity). Also exhibits high resistance to water, bacteria, fungi and insects (for applications requiring resistance to prolonged exposure). It can be processed using injection molding. Tarnoform® 300 UV commercialized by Grupa Azoty is suitable for automotive industry (for parts outside vehicles and exposed to sunlight).
