VESTAMID® NRG 3001 by Evonik is a high viscosity, unfilled, heat & light stabilized, polyamide 12. It is processed by injection molding and extrusion method. It is characterized by easy processing and excellent dimensional control during pipe extrusion, especially by processing of large diameter pipes. It possesses excellent compatability against hydrocarbon (i.e. crude oil) and oilfield chemical (i.e. paraffin inhibitors). It exhibits resistance to heat (thermal stability), hydrolysis/hot water, UV/light/weathering and oil/fuel. It is developed for the manufacturing of hydrocarbon transport piping system & liner. It is recommended for oil & gas and tube & hose applications. VESTAMID® NRG 3001 has a shelf life of 2 years.
