RESOMER® RP d 255 by Evonik is an amphiphilic, bioabsorbable di-block of poly (DL-lactide) and poly (ethylene glycol) methyl ether 5000 with 25% weight fraction of PEG. It helps to achieve shorter degradation time than standard lactide/glycolide-containing polymers. It is designed for nanoparticle formation and can be used in a wide range of parenteral drug delivery applications which include controlled and sustained release drug products.
