BioSpan® SPU by Envalior is a segmented polyurethane. It offers resilience, superior mechanical characteristics, excellent flex life, low modulus, high strength, elongation, biostability, thrombo-resistance, versatile and resistance to flex fatigue. It is recommended for flexing, blood-contacting components in sac and diaphragm-type ventricular assist devices, artificial hearts and in spinal implants.
