Grilon® CF 6 S by EMS-Grivory (EMS Group) is an extracted polyamide 6-12 [PA 6-12] grade. Possesses barrier properties, high viscosity, low melting point, very high flexibility and toughness, high shrink, very good transparency, very good thermoforming and orientation properties. Is suitable for processing by cast film-, blown film- and other extrusion. Mostly used for the manufacture of both flat and blown coextruded films with temperature sensitive polymers such as PVDC and EVOH. Its potential applications are cook in bag for meat, cheese, deep-draw consumer, medical packaging and asymmetric barrier film structures. Grilon® CF 6 S is used in oriented film packaging. It applies with EU requirements- Food contact and FDA.
