Bluesil™ ESA 6118 A/B

Bluesil™ ESA 6118 A/B by Elkem Silicones is a two-component silicone elastomer. It crosslinks at room temperature by polyaddition reaction. The polymerization can be accelerated by heating.

• It offers fast mixing (1:1) and easy processability due to the low viscosity.
• This product shows very good high temperature (200°C) resistance performance, natural adhesion after curing, very good dielectric properties and transparency (good optical transmission).
• It displays low ionic content, good compatibility with fillers and outstanding protection of encapsulated equipment, against mechanical stress due to temperature variations and vibrations.
• It is an environmentally friendly and RoHS 2.0 authenticated grade.
• Bluesil™ ESA 6118 A/B is used in protective potting of electronic components, like IGBT, protection of semi-conductor junctions, potting of optical fibre cable box and lubrication & protection of optical fibre connectivity.
• The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
