Butvar® B-90 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic grade. It is available as powder and imparts broad solubility, good adhesion, toughness & flexibility. Retains clarity of the coating and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset. Butvar® B-90 is recommended for binders for adhesives and structural composites, for inks and toners. Suitable for wash primers and general metal and wood coatings.
