Butvar® B-76 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic powdered grade. Imparts broad solubility, good adhesion, toughness and flexibility. Retains clarity of the coating used for wood, metal and plastic substrates and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. Butvar® B-76 is recommended for ceramic and metal oxide binders for inks, toners and reprographic coatings.
