Solprene® 416

Solprene® 416 by Dynasol is a gel free, clear colored, radial styrene/butadiene block copolymer grade. It contains a non-staining antioxidant system and develops properties of vulcanized rubber yet not requiring vulcanization. Insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvents. Contains 30% of styrene content, most of it forming a polystyrenes block which gives the polymer a thermoplastic behavior. It can be processed using compounding. Suitable for food contact applications, adhesives, asphalt/bitumen, compounds, polymer modification and roofing. Used as elastomeric modifier for asphalt and plastics, as ingredient of soling formulations and as base for pressure sensitive adhesives. Available as free flowing porous crumb for easy handling and dissolution, packaged in standard paper bags, super sacs and cardboard boxes. Solprene® 416 complies with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Substances), TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act), US Environmental Protection Agency), HSDB (US National Library of Medicine) and RTECS (US Dept. of Health & Human Services).
