SURLYN™ 8940-E Ionomer by Dow is a sodium based ionomer with excellent transparency for optic control of powder loading. It offers high melt strength, uniform stretching and high tensile strength. It is suitable for processing by conventional extrusion, blow molding, injection molding, sheet- and tube extrusion. It is used in mining, shock tubes and footwear applications. SURLYN™ 8940-E Ionomer complies with TSCA, GB 4806.1-2016, EN 71-3, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) and conforms to CONEG, EU 94/62/EC.
