SURLYN™ 1605SBR-E Ionomer by Dow is an ionomer of ethylene acid copolymer. It contains slip, anti-block and chill roll release additives. It exhibits outstanding clarity, toughness, abrasion resistance and ability to downgauge.
- It provides low seal initiation temperature, high toughness at low temperature, oil barrier and very high hot tack.
- It is suitable for processing by extrusion coating, conventional blown film-, cast film-, sheet extrusion and coextrusion.
- It is recommended for canister liners, processed meat packaging, medical device forming webs, crystal clear fragrance caps, pouches and sachets and other high-performance films.
- SURLYN™ 1605SBR-E Ionomer complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1330 (a), TSCA, GB 4806.1-2016, EN 71-3, EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG, EU 94/62/EC.
