SILASTIC™ LTC 9400-40 Liquid Silicone Rubber

SILASTIC™ LTC 9400-40 Liquid Silicone Rubber by Dow is a low temperature curing, 1 to 1 mix, silicone rubber. It is processed by liquid injection molding. It offers fast deep-section cure at elevated temperatures. SILASTIC™ LTC 9400-40 Liquid Silicone Rubber possesses unique rheology and improved flowability. It also enables short cycle time and excellent process performance. It is used in co-molding of low-melting plastics, over molding of sensitive components, consumer goods articles and grommets, gaskets & seals. It is formulated to meet requirements of BfR XV recommendation and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600. The shelf life of the product is 15 months from the date of production when stored at or below 35°C.
