ENGAGE™ 8480K Health+ Polyolefin Elastomer by Dow is an ethylene octene copolymer. It has good clarity, toughness, and flexibility. It offers excellent compatibility with other polyolefins, allowing for efficient blending and coextrusion. It is suitable for processing by profile and cast film extrusion.
  • It is used in blends, tubing, hoses in medical and pharmaceutical applications.
  • It provides heat sealability and excellent performance as a contact layer in multilayer film structures.
  • It is free from animal derived materials and complies with USP Class VI.
  • ENGAGE™ 8480K Health+ Polyolefin Elastomer complies with AIIC, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, KECI, PICCS, EINECS, TSCA, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.2c and Regulation (EU) 10/2011.
  • Also complies with GB 4806.1-2016, GB 4806.6-2016, GB 9685-2016, MERCOSUR, ANVISA, EU 94/62/EC, CONEG, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE).
