ELVAX™ CM576 Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer

ELVAX™ CM576 Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer by Dow is a high molecular weight ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer with low gel content and high polarity. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. It is designed for medium to high performance hot melt adhesives. It has high crystallinity and is relatively polar.

• It offers good heat-, high flex crack resistance and clarity.
• It exhibits excellent barrier properties to water, high viscosity, low melting index and good physical properties.
• It is used in sealants, wax blends and industrial applications.
• It is suitable for processing by injection molding, compounding, sheet & shape extrusion, structural foam molding, blow molding and wire coating.
• It can also be processed using conventional rubber processing techniques such as Banbury, two-roll milling and compression molding.
