AFFINITY™ RE 1950 Polyolefin Plastomer

Supplied byDow- Last Updated on May 16, 2025

AFFINITY™ RE 1950 Polyolefin Plastomer by Dow is a polyolefin plastomer. It is characterized by ultra-high clarity and low viscosity. It provides excellent thermal stability and low Tg, making it ideal for applications requiring excellent low-temperature properties.
  • It is highly flexible, non-corrosive, and compatible with a wide range of polymers.
  • It features low crystallinity, which allows it to be heavily filled, and its low density results in better mileage.
  • Additionally, it offers excellent adhesion to diverse substrates when formulated.
  • It does not contain antiblock, slip and processing aid.
  • AFFINITY™ RE 1950 Polyolefin Plastomer is produced using INSITE™ technology and can be used in applications such as polymer modification (e.g., flow enhancement and property enhancement), masterbatch/additive carrier.
  • It complies with U.S. FDA FCN 424 and ISCC PLUS certification for renewable-based plastics.
