AFFINITY™ PL 1881G Polyolefin Plastomer by Dow is an ethylene alpha-olefin plastomer produced via INSITE™ technology. It is designed for use as a seal layer in a variety of demanding high-speed packaging applications, including food, consumer and health & hygiene products. It provides very low seal initiation temperature, excellent seal strength, sealability through contamination and outstanding seal hermeticity.
  • It also delivers excellent optical properties for good packaging appearance as well as a low coefficient of friction for highest packaging line speed.
  • It is suitable for use in oriented PE structures.
  • It can be processed in cast and blown film extrusion.
  • This product supports applications that can be designed for recyclability, helping advance a circular economy.
  • It exhibits excellent ultimate hot tack strength, low-temperature sealability and contains antiblock (2500 ppm) and slip (750 ppm) additives.
