NexTene™ PCX04 by Demeta is a two-component, liquid, thermosetting system (50/1 ratio) leading to PDCPD (or Polydicyclopentadiene or poly-DCPD). It has a long pot life. Suitable for large composite parts processed by resin transfer molding, infusion or filament winding and syntactic foam processed by casting. It allows fast infusion upto 24 hours and manufactures very large parts with few injection points. NexTene™ PCX04 can be used in combination with glass fiber, carbon fiber, UHMW-PE and spheres for syntactic foams.
