NexTene™ GPX02 by Demeta is a two-component (50/1 ratio) polydicyclopentadiene (poly-DCPD). GPX02 is a low viscosity, fast-cure thermoset system designed for low-pressure injection (e.g. Reaction Injection Molding) or casting of large parts without reinforcement. Potential applications include body panels, ballistic protection, utility tunnel liners, nuclear waste handling & storage and chemical storage tanks. Offers extreme cold/ heat service temperatures, excellent impact and corrosion resistance. Possesses adjustable low viscosity capabilities, exceptional mechanical properties, stiffness and low density to reduce part and function weight. Exhibits exceptional toughness, strength, hardness and durability. NexTene™ GPX02 is suitable for low-cost molds (cast or machined aluminum) and engineering of complex 3D designs with low tooling investment costs.
