POLYFLON™ PTFE L-5 is a low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) by Daikin. It is available in the form of a fine white powder. It imparts improved wear resistance, non-stick properties and reduction in coefficient of friction. POLYFLON™ PTFE L-5 is suitable as a dry lubricant and an additive in plastics, rubbers, oil, greese, paints & printing inks. It offers superior handling and dispersing performance. It is compatible with elastomers such as polyamide, polyacetal, polyester, polycarbonate and TPEE.
