Texin® 985A by Covestro is an aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with excellent inherent resistance to salt-water stress cracking and hydrolysis. It is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding.
  • It offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility.
  • Texin® 985A is designed for gaskets, hose, tubing, shoe inserts, connectors, belting, and miscellaneous molded articles.
  • Texin® 985A complies with FDA regulations 21 CFR 177.1680 and 21 CFR 177.2600.
  • It is listed under NSF standard 61 for use in potable water applications.
