Viton™ GBL-200S A by Chemours is a peroxide cured 68% fluorine fluoroelastomer. It is a terpolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, tetrafluoroethylene, and a proprietary cure site monomer. It utilizes the latest Advanced Polymer Architecture (APA) and FWRD technology. It exhibits excellent fluid resistance to oils, hot water and steam, as well as acids.
- It is ideal for blending with Viton™ GBL-600S to reach intermediate viscosity ranges and cures exceptionally fast to a high state of cure.
- It offers excellent storage stability and outstanding compression set resistance with either low or no post-cure.
- It is easily processable via injection molding in standard carbon black and mineral filled formulations.
- It is manufactured without fluorinated surfactant.
- Viton™ GBL-200S A exhibits excellent physical properties with high elongation, both original and aged in standard compounds and in formulations with no or low filler, even after aging.
