Teflon™ PFA 340 by Chemours is a perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) fluoroplastic grade. Possesses high melt strength, toughness, low coefficient of friction, exceptional dielectric & non-stick properties and thermal stability. Exhibits low smoke & moisture absorption, good flexibility and low flammability. Provides creep resistance at high service temperatures, good heat-, chemical-, ignition and weather resistance. Teflon™ PFA 340 can be processed by melt extrusion & injection, compression, and transfer molding. Used in extruded tubing & other profiles for hose, wire & cable insulation, sleeving, industrial film and molded articles requiring superior electrical, chemical, and thermal properties. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
