Teflon™ FEP 100 by Chemours is a general-purpose tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene (FEP) copolymer grade. Possesses good dielectric, non-stick & non-aging properties, good toughness, low coefficient of friction and moisture absorption. Exhibits low flammability, good flexibility, chemical inertness, high weather and stress cracking resistance. Designed for processing by melt extrusion, injection-, compression- and blow molding. Used in wire coating, insulation and cable jacketing. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations and ASTM D 2116 type I. Teflon™ FEP 100 complies with U.L 910 for installation in plenums without metal conduits.
