Celanex® 1700FC by Celanese is an unreinforced, very high molecular weight, semi-crystalline polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Exhibits high strength, rigidity & toughness, low creep even at high temperatures, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, paintability, good electrical properties, no environmental stress cracking, good weathering resistance, very good low friction and wear resistant properties. Celanex® 1700FC by Celanese offers excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and powerful insulation resistance, along with resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases. Can be processed using extrusion and injection molding. Recommended for use in food contact applications.
