Queo™ 8203 by Borealis is an odorless, halogen free, flame retardant, ethylene based octene-1 plastomer with processing stabilizers. It is produced in a solution polymerization process using a metallocene catalyst. Exhibits high clarity, flexibility, outstanding toughness, low temperature impact strength, low amount of extractables, high strength, outstanding puncture- and low temperature flex-cracking resistance.
- Shows filler, oil acceptance, low dissipation factor, low dielectric constant, high melt strength and processability balance.
- Designed for processing by blow molding and film extrusion method.
- Queo™ 8203 is used in specialty stretch/flexible film, roof coverings, impact modification of PP, tunnel linings, flexible low voltage wire & cable insulation and soft foams for artificial wine corks.
- Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006.
