Queo™ 0201 by Borealis is a halogen-free, flame-retarded ethylene based octene-1 elastomer grade. It is produced in a solution polymerization process using a metallocene catalyst. Exhibits high clarity, flexibility, outstanding toughness, low temperature impact strength and low amount of extractables. Offers high strength, outstanding puncture- and environmental stress cracking resistance. Shows versatile blending with other polyolefins, unrivalled sealing and hot tack properties at low temperature. Designed for processing by blow molding and film extrusion. Queo™ 0201 is used in heat shrinkable display film, specialty stretch film, PP film toughness modification, roof coverings and tunnel linings. Other applications include flexible low voltage wire & cable insulation, soft foams like artificial wine corks, seal layers in lamination and flexible barrier films.
