Fibremod™ CB401SY by Borealis is a chemically coupled engineering polypropylene (PP) grade reinforced with 40 % carbon fiber. Offers outstanding mechanical properties enabling to reduce weight in high performance plastics applications. It is insoluble in water and can be recycled using modern methods of shredding and cleaning. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Fibremod™ CB401SY is recommended for automotive applications including door module carriers, engine components, structural seat parts, and tailgate carriers. Complies with the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
