Casico™ FR4820 by Borealis is an odorless, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) flame retardant, polyethylene (PE) grade. It is designed for processing by PVC/PE extrusion. It contains inorganic filler and a novel char-forming additive. It shows cable downsizing. It is UV stabilized and suitable for coloring. It exhibits excellent processing, system aging compatibility, low water permeability and reduced toxic or corrosive gas emissions. Casico™ FR4820 is recommended for 70°C rated insulation for building wires (installation cables), flexible chords and power cables. It complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006, WEEE, RoHS and REACH.
