Casico™ FR4807 by Borealis is an odorless, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) flame retardant, polyethylene (PE) grade. It contains inorganic filler and a novel char-forming additive. It is UV stabilized and suitable for coloring. It shows cable downsizing. It exhibits excellent processing, low water permeability, system aging compatibility and reduced toxic or corrosive gas emissions. It is designed for processing by PVC/PE extrusion. Casico™ FR4807 is recommended for jacket for patch data cables and 80°C rated jacket for flexible chords. It complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006, WEEE, RoHS and REACH.
