Casico™ FR4803 by Borealis is an odorless, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) flame retardant, polyethylene (PE) compound. It contains inorganic filler and a novel char-forming additive. It exhibits excellent processing, system aging compatibility, low water permeability and reduced toxic or corrosive gas emissions. It shows cable downsizing. It is UV stabilized and suitable for coloring. It is designed for processing by PVC/PE extrusion. Casico™ FR4803 is recommended for 90°C rated jacket for distribution cables, building wires (installation cables) and 1 kV low voltage cables. It complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006, WEEE, RoHS, REACH and passes single wire vertical burning test.
