Anteo™ FK1820 by Borealis is a recyclable, linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) grade, containing an antioxidant and polymer processing aid (PPA). It is produced using Borstar® bimodal terpolymer technology. It combines outstanding sealing performance with easy processabilty, good optics and superior mechanical properties.
- It enables energy saving and motor load with excellent bubble stability.
- Provides excellent mechanical strength, organoleptic properties with excellent balance between extruder pressure and physical properties of a film.
- Films made by Anteo™ FK1820 exhibits a unique combination of low seal initiation temperature (SIT), high hot tack force, excellent puncture and balanced tear strength.
- Used in combination with Borstar® PE/ BorShape™ PE/ LDPE/ PP products which offer high performance transparent flexible packaging solution with potential for down gauging.
- Designed for processing by coextrusion and blown film extrusion. Suitable for use in heavy duty shipping sacks (HDSS), lamination, stand up pouch, agricultural film, multi-layer packaging film, stretch cling film, stretch hood, frozen food packaging, form fill seal (FFS), transparent film, liner, artificial grass, lamitude and protection film applications.
- Complies with Australian Standard 2070 - 1999, Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Regulation (EU) 2011/10, FDA CFR Title 21 §177.1520 olefin polymers, GB9685-2008, GB 4806.1-2016 and GB 4806.6-2016 food contact regulations.
- It is recommended to blend with 5% LDPE.
