Urochem Moulding Compound 171 by BI-QEM is a urea formaldehyde resin reinforced with highly refined cellulose. It is modified with special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants. It exhibits good melt flow. It provides high hardness, glossy surface, excellent scratch resistance and excellent chemical resistance. It provides excellent electrical properties and resistance against surfactants & weak bases. It is suitable for processing by compression molding. Urochem Moulding Compound 171 is recommended for electrical accessories, sanitary products, caps and closures. The molded products can be recycled and exhibits good UV stability with good moisture resistance. Its shelf life is of 12 months below 20°C.
