Urochem Moulding Compound 162 by BI-QEM is a highly refined cellulose filled urea formaldehyde resin. It is modified with special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants. It offers high hardness, glossy surface, excellent scratch resistance and excellent chemical resistance. It exhibits low shrinkage, low water absorption and high strength. It provides excellent electrical properties and resistance against surfactants & weak bases. It can be processed by compression molding. Urochem Moulding Compound 162 is recommended for electrical accessories (typically faceplates). The molded products can be recycled and exhibits good UV stability with good moisture resistance. Its shelf life is of 12 months below 20°C.
