GeoCell® K-530 by BEWI is a recyclable, shock absorbing, expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade containing pentane as a blowing agent in reduced amount. Is cost-effective, environment friendly and safe to use. Available in the form of spherical beads with a bulk density of about 0.6g/cm3 in 1.1 ton octabins. It does not contain any chlorofluorocarbon (CFC's) or hydro-chloro-fluoro carbon (HCFC's). Is suitable for processing by foaming by continuous machine or block molding. Recommended for light & heavy insulation board, low and high density applications. Also used in applications where low water uptake is required like frost insulation of building perimeter. GeoCell® K-530 complies with food contact regulations.
