ecovio® F2331 by BASF is a biodegradable copolyester based polylactic acid (PLA). This grade contains anti-blocking and slip agents. It possesses a broad sealing window required for sealing layers of mono- and multi-layer film structures. ecovio® F2331 exhibits high melt strength, good thermostability up to 230°C and good mechanical properties. This grade shows excellent processability, wet strength and good welding properties. It is printable in 8 colors by flexo printing. This grade is designed for the conversion to flexible films using a blown film process. It is used for manufacturing of packaging films, hygienic films and carrier bags.
