GP® 7648 Resin by Bakelite Synthetics is a waterborne phenol formaldehyde resin. Provides low smoke generation, flame resistance and good strength. GP® 7648 Resin is recommended for air conditioning & mining ventilation, aircraft interiors, composites, fire-safe construction materials, high-temperature applications and laminate applications. It is also designed for use in the manufacture of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP), specifically for honeycomb and prepreg that meets the requirements of Military Specification MIL-R-9299C.
